Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

Yes! In order to provide you with the most personalized service, we require an appointment. You will have an assigned bridal stylist to help you throughout your entire 90 minute appointment.

How long are bridal appointments?

Our wedding dress appointments are 1.5 hours.

How long does it take for a wedding dress to come in?

Bridal gowns take 4-8 months to come in depending on the designer and the time of year that you order. Please keep in mind any pre-wedding bridal portraits. Also, fit alterations take 4-6 weeks. We recommend ordering 10-12 months in advance. 

If you have less time than that, don't fret! Our designers offer rush production options, and we do sell most any dress in store from our collection to take home the day of your appointment.

How much are your wedding dresses?

Our dresses range from $1,300-$4,000. Most of our collection is $1,700-$2.200. 

How do payments work?

We require payment in full. We accept cash, all major credit cards, apple pay, and checks (for ordered merchandise only).

What sizes do you have available to try on?

We are proud to offer a wide range of sizes. Our samples range from bridal size 8-30, and can be ordered in sizes 0-32; select styles up to size 38.

Do you have plus size wedding dresses?

Yes! We are proud to be a size inclusive store with well over 100 plus size wedding dresses in sizes 18-30 in a wide selection of styles.

Do you have a large selection of wedding dresses?

One of the largest in the Greater Baton Rouge area with over 500 dresses in store!

Do you offer alterations?

We do not offer alterations services in-house. We have a list of seamstresses/tailors with years of experience in bridal alterations that we will provide you with upon picking up your dress when it comes in. Alterations will very likely be necessary to achieve the perfect fit. This will require additional cost at an off-site tailor/seamstress location of your choice. Natasha Marie Bridal is not responsible for any discrepancies that occur once your dress leaves our store.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Wear skin tone underwear. Be prepared to go braless when trying on the dresses (unless you are currently breastfeeding). All of our gowns have bust cups built in and you won't need a bra on your wedding day. Shoes/heels are not necessary. Bring photos of gowns that best describe your vision and styles that interest you. We also encourage our brides to be open minded. 

Can I take pictures during my appointment?

Absolutely! We recommend taking photos of the dresses you like throughout your appointment.

How many guests can I bring to my appointment?

4 guests. We kindly ask that you not bring children under the age of 10. Yes, a child does count as 1 of your 4 guests.

What is a trunk show?

For Trunk Show weekend events we bring in a larger selection of a designer's newest collection that is not typically available in-store. This gives you the opportunity to shop a larger selection of gowns from a particular designer that you love. These dresses are only available for ordering during this event. What is a Sample Sale?

A sample sale is an event we host only a few times a year where we mark down select sample dresses for purchase off the rack only. These dresses are purchased in as-is condition. By appointment. Same one-on-one personalized service as our regular bridal appointments. Payment in full. All sales are final. No holds. 

You CAN try on any dress in our inventory during sale events, even if it is not on sale. Our full inventory will still be available to you.
